Terms of Use
Last updated October 27, 2026 · Privacy Policy
The short version
Sports Card Alpha is a sports card grading calculator run by Panthersville Athletic Club, LLC, a Georgia company. These terms are the agreement between you and us. Please read them all. Here is what matters most:
- You must be 18 or older to use Sports Card Alpha.
- Sports Card Alpha gives estimates, not promises. Graders decide grades, markets decide prices, and you decide what to buy, grade and sell. Nothing here is financial or investment advice, and you can lose money on cards.
- We aren't connected to PSA, Beckett, SGC, CGC, TAG, eBay or any other grader or marketplace.
- Live deals show listings from eBay sellers. When you buy through our links, eBay may pay us a commission. It doesn't change what you pay.
- Pro costs $29 a month or $290 a year. Investor costs $79 a month or $790 a year. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel online anytime, and your plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for. We don't refund partial periods.
- The first 500 members who choose Pro monthly pay $19 a month for as long as they stay subscribed.
- If we ever have a dispute, Georgia law applies and a court decides it. There's no arbitration, and small claims court is always open to you.
Questions about these terms: info@graderoihq.com.
1. Who we are and how to reach us
In short: Sports Card Alpha is run by Panthersville Athletic Club, LLC in Georgia. Email is the fastest way to reach us, and you can also write.
Sports Card Alpha is provided by Panthersville Athletic Club, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("Sports Card Alpha," "we," "us," or "our").
These terms cover everything we call Sports Card Alpha: the app at app.graderoihq.com, our website, and the emails we send you.
Email us at info@graderoihq.com about these terms, including any legal notice. You can also send notices by mail to Panthersville Athletic Club, LLC, 2625 Piedmont Road, Ste. 56-400, Atlanta, Georgia 30324. Email reaches us fastest.
2. Agreeing to these terms
In short: Creating an account or using Sports Card Alpha means you accept these terms; our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
You accept these terms when you create an account or otherwise use Sports Card Alpha. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Some features show their own rules where you use them, such as the plan limits on the pricing page. Those rules are part of these terms. If a feature's rule and these terms disagree, the feature's rule applies to that feature.
3. Who can use Sports Card Alpha
In short: You must be an adult, using Sports Card Alpha for your own collecting, investing or card business.
To use Sports Card Alpha, you must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- be allowed to use it under the laws that apply to you; and
- not have had a Sports Card Alpha account closed by us for breaking these terms.
You can use Sports Card Alpha for your own collecting and investing, or for your own card business, such as a shop or a breaking business. You can't resell access to it.
Sports Card Alpha is built for collectors in the United States. Prices are in US dollars and the selling fees are those of US marketplaces. You can use it from elsewhere, but we store your information in the United States.
If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we'll close it and delete its information.
4. Your account
In short: Keep your sign-in safe, keep your details accurate, and tell us if something looks wrong.
- Give us accurate information and keep your email address current. We send important notices there.
- You're responsible for what happens in your account. Keep your password private and don't share your account.
- Sports Card Alpha keeps you signed in on a browser for up to 30 days. On a shared or public computer, sign out when you're done.
- If you think someone else has used your account, change your password and email info@graderoihq.com right away.
5. Plans, billing and automatic renewal
In short: Free costs nothing. Pro and Investor renew automatically every month or year until you cancel, and you can cancel online anytime.
Free
The Free plan costs nothing and needs no card. Its limits are shown on the pricing page, such as how many cards you can save. We may change what Free includes or its limits at any time.
Pro and Investor
Pro costs $29 a month or $290 a year. Investor costs $79 a month or $790 a year. Prices are in US dollars. If tax ever applies, we'll show it at checkout before you pay. You need a confirmed email address to start a paid plan. What each plan includes is listed on the pricing page.
Stripe processes payments on checkout pages it hosts, and Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to that payment. We never see or store your full card number. Charges come from Panthersville Athletic Club, LLC, the company that runs Sports Card Alpha, and show as SPORTS CARD ALPHA on card statements.
The founding price
The first 500 members who choose Pro monthly pay $19 a month instead of $29. The pricing page shows how many founding places are left. You keep the founding price for as long as you stay subscribed at it, and price changes under "Price changes" below never apply to it. It ends when your subscription at that price ends, whether you cancel or a payment isn't made, or when you switch to another plan. After that you can't get it back, and each person can have it once.
Automatic renewal
Paid plans renew automatically. When you subscribe, you authorize us to charge your payment method the price of your plan ($19, $29 or $79 every month on a monthly plan, or $290 or $790 every year on an annual plan), starting the day you subscribe, until you cancel. There's no minimum term. Your next renewal date is on your account page.
Cancel anytime
- To cancel, open your account page, choose Manage billing, and cancel there. You don't need to call or email anyone. If you have trouble, email info@graderoihq.com and we'll cancel it for you.
- After you cancel, your plan stays on until the end of the period you've paid for. Then your account moves to Free and we don't charge you again. Until that date, you can turn renewal back on in the same place.
- Deleting your account cancels your plan right away, and you lose the rest of the paid period without a refund. To keep your plan until the period ends, cancel first and delete your account later.
Switching plans
You can switch between Pro and Investor, and between monthly and annual, in Manage billing. The switch happens right away. Stripe charges the difference for the rest of the current period, or credits it to your account to use on future payments.
If a payment fails
If a renewal payment fails, your paid plan pauses right away until the payment goes through. Update your card in Manage billing to turn it back on.
Refunds
Payments aren't refundable, including for partial months or years, except:
- where the law requires a refund;
- when we made a billing mistake, such as charging you twice;
- after a price change, as described under "Price changes" below; and
- if we shut Sports Card Alpha down, or close your account when you haven't broken these terms. Then we'll refund the unused part of any period you prepaid.
To ask about a charge, email info@graderoihq.com.
Price changes
We may change the price of Pro or Investor. If we do, we'll email you 20 to 30 days before the new price first applies to you, with the new price, the date it starts, and how to cancel. A new price never applies to a period you've already paid for, or to the founding price while you keep it. If you don't want to pay the new price, cancel before that date.
If you're charged the new price and don't want to keep your plan at that price, cancel and email us within 14 days of the charge, and we'll refund the unused part of that period.
6. What Sports Card Alpha's numbers are, and what they aren't
In short: Sports Card Alpha turns the numbers you give it into estimates. Graders decide grades, markets decide prices, and every decision is yours.
Sports Card Alpha works out estimates: the average return on grading a card, the chance of each grade, the most you could pay and still reach a target, how an order of cards might come out, and how many copies of a card were printed. Please keep in mind:
- The calculator works from the prices, grade odds, fees and other numbers you type in or choose. If they're wrong, the answer is wrong.
- Estimates aren't promises. Graders decide grades, and the same card can grade differently on different days. Card prices go up and down, sometimes quickly, and past sales don't promise future ones. An order of cards can come out worse than our simulation shows.
- Print runs for cards that aren't numbered are worked out from the pack odds makers publish, which are rounded, so we show them as a range. Makers don't publish exact print runs for most cards.
- We check grader prices against each grader's own price list and show the date we last checked. Graders and marketplaces can change their prices at any time, and what they charge you is what counts.
- Live deals work from your saved card's numbers and from what eBay shows when we check: the price, the shipping eBay quotes, and the sales tax rate you give us. Listings change and end, shipping and tax at checkout can differ, and titles and photos come from the seller. Check the card and the listing yourself before you buy.
- Sports Card Alpha doesn't give financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it doesn't know your situation. Sports cards are collectibles, and you can lose some or all of the money you put into them.
- You choose what to buy, grade and sell, and with whom. We don't buy, sell, grade or hold cards.
7. Graders, marketplaces and other websites
In short: We aren't connected to the graders and marketplaces we mention, and their own terms apply when you use them.
Sports Card Alpha isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PSA, Beckett (BGS), SGC, CGC, TAG, eBay, Stripe or any other grader, card maker or marketplace. Their names are trademarks of their owners, and we use them only to identify their services.
Sports Card Alpha links to other websites, such as graders' price lists. We don't control those websites, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Live deals show listings from eBay, with eBay's photos and its sellers' descriptions. We don't sell those cards and we aren't part of any sale: you buy from the seller on eBay, under eBay's User Agreement. Sports Card Alpha is in the eBay Partner Network, so when you buy through one of our links, eBay may pay us a commission. It doesn't change what you pay, and it doesn't decide which listings you see: a listing shows because it's under the price you can pay for your target.
8. Your content
In short: What you save in Sports Card Alpha stays yours. You let us use it only to run Sports Card Alpha for you.
The cards you save, with the names and numbers you give them, belong to you. You give us permission to store, copy and process them only as needed to run Sports Card Alpha for you, for example to show your saved cards and recheck them against today's grader prices. This permission ends when you delete them or your account, apart from copies in backups for the short time described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Acceptable use
In short: Use Sports Card Alpha fairly, don't copy it or its data in bulk, and don't attack our systems.
Don't:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it;
- get around limits, plans, payment or security, or access another person's account. If you find a security problem, please tell us at info@graderoihq.com instead of testing it further;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download Sports Card Alpha, including grader prices, set pages, print runs and deals, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows;
- republish, sell or share the spreadsheets you download, or other data from Sports Card Alpha, in bulk. Investor downloads are for your own use;
- use Sports Card Alpha or its data to build a competing product or to train an AI model;
- create accounts in bulk, or open extra Free accounts to get more free use;
- resell Sports Card Alpha or sell access to it; or
- upload malware, or interfere with, overload or disrupt Sports Card Alpha.
10. Sports Card Alpha's property
In short: Sports Card Alpha's software, design, data and brand belong to us; you get a personal license to use them.
We and our licensors own Sports Card Alpha, including its software, calculations, design, text, the grader price lists we keep, and the set pages and print run estimates we put together. Sports Card Alpha™ and its logo are our trademarks.
As long as you follow these terms, we give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Sports Card Alpha for your own collecting, investing or card business. We can end this license if you break these terms.
Sharing a number or a screenshot from Sports Card Alpha with friends or in a post is fine, and so is saying you used it. Don't use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or your business.
11. Feedback
In short: If you send us ideas, we can use them freely.
We love hearing how to make Sports Card Alpha better. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
12. Copyright complaints
In short: Tell us if you think something on Sports Card Alpha infringes your copyright, and we'll look at it quickly.
Members can't publish content on Sports Card Alpha. If you believe something we show infringes your copyright, email info@graderoihq.com with a description of the work, where it appears on Sports Card Alpha, and how we can reach you. We'll review it promptly and remove anything that infringes.
13. Suspension and termination
In short: You can leave anytime; we can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
You can stop using Sports Card Alpha at any time, and delete your account from your account page.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we need to protect people or Sports Card Alpha, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering Sports Card Alpha. When we can, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to download your information first, unless that would cause harm or break the law.
If we stop offering Sports Card Alpha altogether, we'll try to tell you at least 30 days ahead, and we'll refund the unused part of any period you prepaid. If we close your account because you broke these terms, we won't refund it.
The parts of these terms that by their nature should continue after your account ends will continue, including our property rights, the disclaimers, the limits on liability, and the section on disputes.
14. Disclaimers
In short: We work hard to make Sports Card Alpha useful and accurate, but we provide it as it is, without promises beyond these terms.
Sports Card Alpha is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We don't promise that Sports Card Alpha will be accurate, available without interruption, secure, or free of errors, or that any estimate, price, grade odds, print run or other number will be correct or lead to any result, including any profit.
Some states don't allow some of these disclaimers, so some of them may not apply to you.
15. Limits on liability
In short: If something goes wrong, our responsibility is limited to what you paid us in the last year, or $100 if that's more.
To the fullest extent the law allows: (a) we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, trading or investment losses, the cost of cards or grading, lost data, or lost goodwill, even if we were told they were possible; and (b) our total liability for all claims about Sports Card Alpha or these terms, whatever the legal theory, including negligence and product liability, is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Sports Card Alpha in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim, or $100.
These limits don't apply to liability that comes from our gross negligence, willful or wanton misconduct, or fraud, or to anything else the law doesn't let us limit. Some states don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.
16. Indemnity
In short: If you break these terms and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you cover the cost.
You'll reimburse us for losses and reasonable costs, including reasonable lawyers' fees, that come from a claim by someone else that arises from your breaking these terms or the law. We'll tell you promptly about any such claim, and you can take part in the defense with a lawyer you choose. This doesn't cover any part of a claim that we caused.
17. Disputes and governing law
In short: Talk to us first. If that doesn't work, Georgia law applies and a court in Georgia decides, or a small claims court. There's no arbitration.
Talk to us first
Most problems can be fixed with a conversation. Before filing a claim, please email info@graderoihq.com with a description of the problem and what you'd like us to do, and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. This doesn't apply to small claims cases or to urgent requests for a court order.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute about Sports Card Alpha are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived by agreement, including the laws of the state where you live.
Where disputes go
Any lawsuit about Sports Card Alpha or these terms must be brought in the state courts of Georgia in the county where Panthersville Athletic Club, LLC has its principal office, or in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
Small claims
Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court instead, including in Georgia's magistrate courts (which hear claims up to $15,000) or in the small claims court for the county where you live, if the claim qualifies.
No arbitration
These terms don't require arbitration. Disputes go to court.
18. Changes to Sports Card Alpha and to these terms
In short: Sports Card Alpha will change over time, and we'll give you notice before important changes to these terms take effect.
We're always improving Sports Card Alpha, so features will be added, changed, and sometimes removed. What each plan includes is always shown on the pricing page.
We may also update these terms. If a change is material, meaning it reduces your rights or adds to your obligations, we'll email you and post a notice at least 30 days before it takes effect. Changes required by law, or needed to deal with security or abuse, may take effect sooner. Price changes follow section 5. Changes never apply to a dispute that started before they took effect. The change log at the end of this page lists every version.
If you keep using Sports Card Alpha after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply to you. If you don't agree with them, stop using Sports Card Alpha before they take effect, and cancel your plan or delete your account.
19. General terms
In short: The usual rules about how these terms work as a whole.
- These terms, along with the rules shown in features, are the whole agreement between you and us about Sports Card Alpha.
- We may send you notices by email to your account address or show them in Sports Card Alpha. You can send notices to us at info@graderoihq.com or by mail to the address in section 1. You agree that electronic agreements, notices, and records count as "in writing."
- You can't transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, and we'll tell you if that happens.
- If part of these terms isn't enforceable, the rest still applies, and that part is applied as fully as the law allows.
- If we don't enforce a part of these terms, that doesn't mean we've given up the right to enforce it later.
- We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as outages at our providers, natural disasters, or war.
- These terms don't give rights to anyone except you and us.
- Nothing in these terms makes you and us partners, employer and employee, or agents of each other.
- Federal law asks us to tell you that parental control tools, such as hardware, software, and filtering services, are sold commercially and can help limit access to material that's harmful to minors. The FTC's guide How To Use Parental Controls names some of them.
- Headings and "in short" summaries are there to help you read; the full text of each section is what counts. "Including" means "including without limitation."
20. Change log
In short: Every version of these terms, newest first.
